Got Your Back
This is a User Experience Design project geared towards scoliosis patients. The goal of the project is to research the physical and emotional challenges that scoliosis patients face, and create an app that helps alleviate some of these challenges.
For my research, I will conduct surveys, interviews, and usability testing with scoliosis patients (past and present) and/or high school aged students. If you fit into either category and would like to participate in this research study, you can take a survey and/or participate in an interview.

A bit about me
Hello, I’m Jess! I have congenital scoliosis (S curve in my lumbar and thoracic spine). A Milwaukee brace was a regular part of my daily life for 8 years. At the age of 13, I underwent spinal fusion surgery and kept the scars to prove it. These experiences have played a huge part in shaping who I am, and I am grateful for all the good times and challenging times. It is my goal to build support and awareness for those who have scoliosis!
